Terms of Service

By creating an account or using the Scholar Journal platform (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Publinexa Pvt. Ltd. ("Scholar Journal", "we", "us"). We may update these Terms from time to time — we will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You may not create accounts for others without their consent, share your account credentials, or use the Service on behalf of a third party without authorisation. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

By submitting a manuscript, you represent and warrant that:

• You have the authority to submit the manuscript on behalf of all listed authors. • The manuscript is original, has not been published elsewhere in substantially similar form, and is not currently under review at another journal. • The research was conducted ethically and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. • All listed authors meet the ICMJE authorship criteria. • You have obtained all necessary permissions to use third-party content (figures, data, quotations) included in the manuscript.

Breach of any of these representations may result in rejection, retraction, and account suspension.

Upon acceptance of a manuscript, authors grant Scholar Journal a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to publish, distribute, reproduce, and archive the article in all formats, including print, digital, and derivative databases.

Authors retain copyright over their work. All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence unless otherwise agreed. This means anyone may share and adapt the work for any purpose, provided appropriate credit is given.

The article-processing charge (APC) becomes due upon passing initial editorial desk review and before peer review commences. Payment does not guarantee acceptance — editorial decisions are made solely on scientific merit.

Refund policy: full refund if rejected at desk review; 70% refund if rejected after peer review; no refund once an acceptance decision has been issued. See our Cancellation Policy for full details.

All payments are processed by Razorpay. By making a payment, you also agree to Razorpay's terms of service.

You agree not to:

• Submit manuscripts containing fabricated or falsified data. • Engage in plagiarism, duplicate publication, or ghost authorship. • Attempt to identify or contact reviewers assigned to your manuscript. • Use the platform to distribute malware, spam, or unlawful content. • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service. • Impersonate another person or entity.

Violations may result in immediate account termination and, where appropriate, referral to relevant authorities or institutions.

By accepting a review invitation, you agree to: complete the review honestly and objectively within the agreed deadline; maintain the confidentiality of the manuscript; disclose any conflicts of interest to the handling editor; and not use or share unpublished data from the manuscript without explicit written consent from the authors.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Scholar Journal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Bengaluru, Karnataka under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. Proceedings shall be conducted in English.
